The normal excursions currently run from Kloof to Inchanga and Inchanga to Kloof on the LAST Sunday of each month.

Inchanga trains depart from Kloof station (Stokers Arms) at 08h30 and 12h30 whilst Pietermaritzburg trains depart from Pietermaritzburg Station at different times - for Inchanga, and Nottingham Road so please check on the relevant booking form

Normal running days are the LAST Sunday of each month with special trains running on the FIRST Sunday from Pietermaritzburg

Please be at Kloof Station (Stokers Arms) or Pietermaritzburg Station at least 30-minutes before your departure time
If we have passengers waiting for tickets and you have not arrived 15-minutes before the train is due to leave then your tickets will be sold to those waiting |

Inchanga morning train - 1-hour trip from Kloof, at Inchanga a rest for 1-hour, 1-hour trip back to Kloof |

Refreshments are available on the train located at the front of the train, going toward Inchanga, in Coach "A" and for Pietermatrizburg in the dining car.
The bar at Inchanga Station also sells refreshments and most kinds and stocks railway souvenirs -"railwayana". |

At Inchanga Station: Picnic area with tables and chairs (bring your own table cloth for picnics etc.), food stalls and craft market, children's face painting, candle making, pony rides & model railway display (grey building at end of craft stalls), braai fires (BBQ for those visitors from far afield), are lit for the afternoon trip (bring your own meat and cooking utensils) |
