Different efforts to safe this line went destroyed be bureaucracy and ignorance’s. And at latest the storms from 2008 damaged the line (wash away of the large bridge) at the beach section . Because of the huge financial effort who would be needed to repair the beach sector only the section from Izotsha to Harding would made sense to be saved for the future if there are some new ideas to safe this unique line. An other point to keep only this section a life are the interests of the communities (or members of them) : they are not longer interested to have a smoking train in this section ( the ground will spend a huge profit for the sellers), then the railway property is located on the best spots along the beach. |
