June 2010 Update:

After a lengthy process, Atlantic Rail has finally been able to secure a renewal of our interface agreement with PRASA. This allows us to once again operate on Metrorail lines.

We have also had our Railway Safety Regulator permit reissued.

Work has started on the maintenance of our coaches and locomotive in preparation for our next trip.

The line between Fishhoek and Simon’s Town has suffered a wash away. Metrorail has indicated that it will take a total of 12 weeks for repairs to be done to this line. As soon as we know a definite date for the completion of this repair work, we can plan our day trip schedules.

We intend to have a large re-launch with the first train that runs.
